The Maze Runner has definitely topped the weekend box office by grossing about $150.9 million dollars. Based on the novel by James Dashner’s The Maze Runner, 16 year old Thomas played by Dylan O’Brien wakes up in an elevator with no memory other than his name. When he gets out he meets other boys in the same situation as him, in a place called the Glade. Through a crazy ride of figuring out the maze that is right outside while trying to protect themselves from “Grievers”, Thomas and the others learn the truth of the Glade.
Directed by Wes Ball, the movie received amazing reviews based mainly on the cast’s incredible performances and the films intriguing plot. Ticket selling site Fandango reports that The Maze Runner accounted for over 50% of ticket sales since it’s release. Overall, this movie is a definate must see for everyone!
